The Strathmore University’s Extractives Industry Centre and Kipya Africa Ltd are proud to present an unprecedented opportunity Mining4i. This event provides a platform for technological innovations developed by Kenyans touching on any facets of the mining industry, such as initiatives that improve working conditions for miners or that minimize the environmental footprint of mining activities and advance technological innovations in Kenya’s mineral industry that will enhance existing or new information technology products and services.
Mining4i defines mining as the extraction of commercially viable geologic material including oil and gas, from the earth. To ensure economic prosperity for Kenyans, mining companies, service providers, government departments and research organisations need to interact in an open and effective way to develop new ideas and new solutions to address these challenges.
The 3rd Mining4i event shall be themed: “Community Partnerships to Foster Innovation in Extractives; From Policy to Profit”
