Event Description

Security and Human Rights at the Exploration Stage: The purpose of the session is to discuss the relationship between human rights and security arrangements around exploration-stage projects. Our hope is to identify key challenges and share leading practices that can be employed to reduce the likelihood of adverse human rights impacts. The session is open to representatives from mineral exploration companies (i.e. juniors) and exploration managers from mineral producers (i.e. seniors) as well as government officials, civil society and academia. Pre-registration is required (please contact Melanie Wallace at mwallace@pdac.ca). Admission will be determined on a first come, first served basis
