After over two decades of sustained advocacy, the Ghanaian parliament has finally passed the much-awaited Right to Information act (comes into effect from January 1, 2020).
Given Ghana's democratic resilience, relatively free media and her commitment to EI transparency as shown through the Petroleum Revenue Management Act and EITI compliant status,
I find it timely to bring up a conversation on the potential of the RTI Act to foster transparency and accountability.
