New challenges demanding new governance approaches for a green economy
New Paper on International Resource Politics published by the Heinrich Böll Foundation, University of Rostock  and the Wuppertal Institute, Germany
Natural resources are back on the agenda. After the rise of new economic powers such as China, India and Brazil, global competition has perceptibly increased strategic concerns as regards high commodity prices and possible supply shortages.

This paper emphasises a new dimension of international politics and advocates for new approaches within the framework of international resource politics which is seen as a new element for ongoing debates around a green economy and transition strategies.
