Hi all
I just joined this group. Would like to know about progress made by EITI in DRC.
Kind regards Dieuwke
Hi all,
Can anyone provide me with practically examples, not theory, of initiatives or programs that are contributing to the governance of EI's in the DRC? How are these initiatives evaluated and scored?
Cheers
Charles
Hi Ousmane,
Not sure if this will interest you but we are developing an internet map portal site for the DRC that will show active and application tenements with associated company, resources, expiry date, etc. This will hopefully improve transparency in the DRC mining industry.
Regards
Charles
Dear all,
I would like to share the following link: http://www.icglr.org/IMG/pdf/THE_SIX_TOOLS_OF_THE_RINR.pdf
''The Initiative operates six specific tools in its effort to curb the illegal exploitation of natural resources in the Great Lakes Region. This approach was designed by the ICGLR Conference Secretariat and thereafter officially approved by the eleven Heads of State of the ICGLR Member States''.
