Consultants For the EITI Indonesia Secretariat

VACANCY: CONSULTANTS FOR THE EITI INDONESIA SECRETARIAT

The Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) is the global standard for revenue transparency in the extractive industries, including oil and gas, coal and general mining. This standard focuses on the reconciliation of payments made by companies to government, with those received by government from companies, and the reporting of this information to the public.


Based on Presidential Regulation No. 26/2010, EITI in Indonesia is implemented by a Transparency Team consisting of a ministerial-level Steering Team and a multi-stakeholder Implementation Team. In completing its tasks the Implementation Team has the authority to request information, data, consult Central Government Agencies, Regional Governments,
extractive industries companies and other parties when deemed necessary.


An EITI Secretariat is being formed in order to support the Implementation Team, and needs to fill the following professional positions:


a. Team Leader, a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree with 15 years of relevant experience in the field of oil/gas/mineral/coal/government, and 10 years experience in leading a team;


b. Minerals Specialist, a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years of relevant experience in the minerals and metals industries;


c. Coal Specialist, a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years of relevant experience in the coal industry;


d. Oil and Gas Specialist, a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry;


e. Government Specialist, a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years of experience working with one or more Indonesian government bureaucracy;


f. CSO Specialist, a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years of relevant experience in working with CSOs;


g. Financial Specialist, a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years of relevant experience in the field of Indonesian government finance and multilateral institutional finance;


h. IT Specialist, a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of relevant experience in the field of MIS;


i. Communications Specialist, a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years of relevant experience in the field of in communications.


The Goods/Services Procurement and Auction Committee of the Coordinating Ministry of Economic Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia will conduct a bid/general selection for these consultant positions, which will be funded by Foreign Grant number TF-099302.

All prospective specialists should send an application letter, CV, copy of their latest diploma, copy of their taxpayer number (NPWP for Indonesian citizens), copy of their highest-value contract for a position held which is similar to that
for which an application is being submitted, copy of latest yearly tax submission, and any letters of reference verifying employment during the last 15, 10, or 5 years (depending on the position which is being applied for) to the EITI
