At Global Witness we investigate and campaign to stop human rights and environmental abuses caused by corruption and the exploitation of natural resources.
An opportunity has arise for an experienced Senior Campaigner to join our new Corruption Investigations team to drive our work in tackling corruption in the extractives sector in a range of countries including DRC and Afghanistan.
About the role
You’ll plan and conduct investigations to expose corruption in the natural resources sector. You’ll design and put in place advocacy strategies that bring attention, engagement and ultimately change to what your investigations reveal.
Proven campaigning skills, experience in journalism or undertaking investigative work and excellent communication skills, coupled with a deep understanding of the challenge of tackling the climate crisis is essential. So is knowledge of working in developing countries as you’ll be focusing on Democratic Republic of Congo, Congo and Afghanistan.
