About the Reporting Team:

The Reporting team provides a critical contribution to CDP’s mission. We develop CDP’s world leading questionnaires and guidance for organisations reporting environmental information to investors, customers and other data-users. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the development of CDP’s forests questionnaire and guidance, including:
    • Writing and proofreading technical documents (questionnaire, guidance and reports);
    • Analysing companies’ past responses to the CDP forests questionnaire;

    • Collaborating with several teams across CDP, notably the Forests, Scoring, and Supply Chain teams
    • Delivering internal and external training materials and presentations
    • Supporting the Technical Manager, Forests in managing stakeholder relations with relevant sectors, with emphasis on the metals & mining sector.
  • Supporting operational day-to-day tasks and other projects, e.g.:
    • Inputting and reviewing content of the questionnaire/guidance into CDP’s systems
    • Supporting other questionnaire and guidance-related tasks
    • Responding to internal technical queries related to the questionnaire and its guidance

The precise description and nature of your job may be varied from time to time and you may be required to carry out other duties as necessary to meet business needs.

Required skills and experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable academic and/or professional experience working on deforestation or forest conservation issues
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

This is a full-time role on a fixed term contract until November 2020 based at CDP’s London office reporting to Technical Manager, Forests.

Salary and benefits: £27,000 – £30,000, annual discretionary bonus (depending on company performance), 30 days’ holiday, generous non-contributory pension provision, life assurance and others.
