About My Work
Our work that is related to the GOXI's mission and objectives involves understanding, researching, training and undertaking advocacy on the interaction of water with the oil, gas and mining with a view of promoting sustainable utilization of water in these sub-sectors

Water Governance Institute (WGI) is a founding member of the Civil Society Coalition on Oil & Gas (CSCO) in Uganda and is a member of the Steering Committee of Uganda Contracts Monitoring Coalition (UCMC), Uganda Tax Justice Alliance (UTJA) and the United Nations Coalition Against Corruption (UNCAC). By virtues of these associations, WGI is keen on monitoring extractive sector contract award, social accountability, environment, human rights, governance and revenue generation, taxation, redistribution, and sustainable development,
