Mozambique contracts Spatial Dimension to expand Mining Cadastre System

Spatial Dimension is pleased to announce that the Mozambique Ministry of Mineral Resources has contracted Spatial Dimension to expand their existing Mining Cadastre System to include Extractive Industry Transparency Initiative (EITI) compliance reporting, monitoring and evaluation of the Kimberly Process for the diamond sector as well as to extend the current footprint of the Mining Cadastre System to include an additional four regional offices.

Zambia: New Mining Policy to Benefit Zambians

A recent press release about Zambia's new mining policy noted, 'To further promote foreign investment, the Ministry of Mines had introduced and was currently implementing, an online mining cadastre system to streamline the issuance of rights, in an effort to streamline the issuance of rights at a one-stop centre'.
