I am an independent researcher and consultant on energy, extractive industries and sustainability. I have worked as an industry consultant, as a researcher and for NGOs, in Russia, Nigeria, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Greenland and other regions. My last post was as principal researcher at the International Institute for Environment and Development for over 8 years. I left and started up as an independent in May 2015.
