How are you doing in Freetown?

I will recall my student days at FBC. My engineering studies was funded by the german Embassy under the GIZ. I am originally from Kono District and worked as a mining engineeer there for years. It was my first job after college.

Revenue generation from artisinal mining operations is one of my concerns. I contacted the World Bank for any studies/examples of revenue derived from artisinal mining operations for Local Economic Development but the material sent to me did not satisfy my curiosity.

Is your organization doing any studies/work in the area of revenue generation from artisinal mining operations by Local authorities for Local (district) Economic development?

Thank you for your assistance with this issue.

I am a retired engineer from the North Carolina Department of Transportation, here in the US. I intend to return to West Africa-Sa. Leone, Ghana and or Liberia, soonest.

If your organization needs my services in local economic development, resources management, infrastructural development projects, I will be very willing to serve, even on voluntary basis.
