Gad Amankwaah Amoako is an Entrepreneur, environmentalist, mining and investment consultant, Natural resources management professional and geo-political enthusiast with a bachelor’s degree of Natural resources management with specialization in agroforestry from Kwame Nkrumah university of science and technology, Kumasi, Ghana and currently pursuing his master’s degree in environmental science at the same university. Gad is the managing director of Green Evolutions Ventures Ghana from 2016 till date an environmental friendly energy and eco solutions enterprise which provide cheap energy solutions through solar panel, biogas plant installations and other green technologies for renewable energy solutions in the rural areas in Ghana and also providing funding and consultancy services to smallholder farmers to promote sustainable and better livelihood of rural population. Gad has consistently ensured the long term viability of profitable projects of the enterprise through engaging cooperative and farmers group in rural part of Ghana. He is also the business development director at Proudfoot Green Innovations Solutions limited since 2015 a hydrogen enhancement technology energy solutions company limited in Ghana. For the past six years he has being working with Trees and Animals Future Foundation as director of operations an NGO he co-founded and has championed many agroforestry based projects in many rural parts of Ghana. He has spearheaded the nursery and plantation projects of high demand indigenous and exotic timber and cash trees species in many parts of Ghana with the aim of making timber available for future generation whilst provided investment opportunities, job creations for unemployed with focus on the youth and also reducing greenhouse gases and tackling climate change and promoting environmental sustainability therefore improving livelihood.
Gad has built a reputation for developing business strategies, incubating new businesses and reengineering business process to make business profitable which he has demonstrated over the years by providing business consultancy for new and existing businesses in Ghana. He is part of a research team of the University of Ghana and University of York collaboration on solving the illegal small scale mining problem in Ghana in 2018. He was a contributor at the University of Ghana Mining Research Group and Centre for Climate Change and Sustainability studies maiden biennial conference in 2017. Gad was also a team member of the Ghana wood tracking pilot program during and after his national services with the Ghana forestry commission a voluntary partnership agreement between Ghana and European Union.
