About My Work
I work on energy politics, including the politics of oil, gas and renewables. I have worked a lot on the former Soviet Union and South-East Asia, but also cover several global issues. I have just published a ranking of Arctic extractive companies on indigenous rights. At the moment I am completing the edited volume "Public Brainpower" on the role of civil society and public debate in natural resource management, and a project on the geopolitics of a large-scale transition to renewable energy in cooperation with Columbia University, Harvard University, IRENA and the German and Norwegian MFAs.
