About My Work
I am a trained political economist and I have a strong intellectual grasp and practical understanding of extractive industries, international development, the public and private sectors in emerging market contexts. I have proven excellent communications skills, including in cross-cultural contexts. I have demonstrated my ability to collate and synthesise large amounts of information and present it in a clear and concise manner to achieve a positive outcome. My professional and academic experiences have honed my analytical, research and people skills. I have a strong work ethic and thrive on adapting my set of skills to new projects and challenges. I have worked for several years on Extractive Industries in the Andean, Middle East, Sub-Sarahan and Southern Africa. My interests lie in revenue transparency, resource and conflict management. I am passionate about making the EI sectors more transparent, accountable and accessible, whilst ensuring that long term development aims are met through better planning, participation and partnerships.
