Long-time commitment to research on contemporary Mongolia led me to a consideration of mining policy.
This interest was reinforced by collaborations with colleagues in mining engineering and has become more of a central focus of my research. I am now involved with the Canadian International Resources and Development Institute as the lead on Mongolia projects.
