Getting a Good Deal by Decreasing Risks to Companies

Recently, I heard that Liberia has requested that companies implement the Voluntary Principles on Security & Human Rights (VPs) in their operations in that country. For a company to successfully implement the VPs, host government support is critical – and so I hope this signals a new trend, in which host governments will not only be supportive of the VPs, but actively encourage companies to implement and take actions themselves to ensure success.
