About My Work
I am currently Technical Advisor/ Program Manager on Extractive Industries at UNDP Mozambique; I used to be Economic Affairs Officer, Mineral Sector Governance, at the African Minerals Development Center (AMDC) within the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa.
Responsibilities include monitoring developments in the mineral sector at global, regional and national levels, particularly on governance of extractive industries and identifying emerging issues and trends that affect the African Mineral Sector, among others.
Areas of interest
gold, diamonds, oil and natural gas, csr, governance and anti-corruption, environment, social accountability, human rights, contract and licensing, monitoring revenue collection, redistribution and sustainable development
