About My Work
I currently serve as a researcher with Tax Justice Network's Anglophone African Research Hub, based in Lilongwe. I also am an Open Contracting Mentor with the School of Data under the Hivos/Article 19 Open Up Contracting programme.

Previously I was Head of Accountability, Policy and Programmes at Citizens for Justice in Lilongwe, Malawi, through the GIZ/CIM Integrated Expert programme. In this role, I sat on Malawi's EITI Multi-Stakeholder Group for 2.5 years and helped lead the Natural Resource Justice Network and PWYP Malawi's work. Prior to this, I was with the Revenue Development Foundation in Malawi's Ministry of Natural Resources, Energy and Mining.

My interest in Malawi's mining sector, the country where I grew up, expresses itself in my blog, Mining in Malawi, www.mininginmalawi.com. In the last few years, I have worked on a number of extractive industries related consultancies and projects for Resources for Development, OpenOil, Imani Development, the Catholic Commission for Justice and Peace, the Southern Africa Resource Watch (OSISA) and the SADC Parliamentary Forum.
