About My Work
I am a mid-career professional with experience in environmental and human rights advocacy, monitoring multinational companies especially in the extractive sector. Currently working as the environmental/human rights lawyer in the mining, environment and community project by FODER and funded by the European Union, I seek to research methods through which mining activities in Cameroon can enhance community development through subnational transfers raised from royalty payments and also how local content could be included in law so as to benefit Cameroon and Cameroonians. The ultimate aim of my job is to promote transparent management of mining activities through active citizen participation.
