Osvaldo Urzúa has a PhD in Science and Technology Policy from SPRU (Science Policy Research Unit), University of Sussex, UK. Additionally, he holds an MSc in Engineering from the University of Chile and an MBA from ESADE, Barcelona, Spain. He has more than 25 years of experience in the design and implementation of policies and strategies for sustainable development and innovation at both, the public and private sectors
