About My Work

I am currently an MSc student at the Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy (CEPMLP) of the University of Dundee. My interest lies in Energy Policy and Economics.

As part of my academic work, I have undertaken a few scholarly research as below:
• What is the impact of the electricity tariff regime on power sector investment in Ghana?
• Power sector investment in Ghana: has regulatory reforms helped?
• Ghana’s oil resource management: which institutions matter-public sector institutions or private sector institutions?
• Appraisal of and due diligence on the Mexican Government’s Master Risk Service contract for natural gas well.
• Viability of Gas-to-power as a gas monetization option for Ghana’s natural gas.
• A decomposition analysis of CO2 emissions in the EU-5: Lesson to be leant.
I am currently writing on the relationship between crude oil prices and the macro economy of Ghana.

Before choosing to concentrate my efforts however in Energy Economics, I was just an Economist with a brief spell at the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning in Ghana.
