Hi Goxaians,IBIS are considering doing a research of a mine in Mozambique focusing on the fiscal side of teh mining - contracts, tax payments, other contributions to the government, etc. Are anyone aware of experienced Portugues speaking consultants who would be able to carry out such a research? And even have experiences in turning it into a strong advocacy report?regards, LarsSee More

Til orientering, er der en omstrukturering af Ministry of Mineral Resources på vej i Sierra Leone. Den kan blive vældig interessant at følge i og med at der skabes en decideret styrelse til at varetage den primære kontakt til sektoren, og efterlader den politiske del hos Ministeriets kerneembedsmænd. Det er Verdensbanken og DFID der har betalt gildet, og det er primært Adam Smith International der igen er kontraheret til at udføre det forudgående papirarbejde. Kender du egentlig noget til deres rygte? Altså Adam Smith International!
