According to documents obtained and posted by Motherboard, the Trump transition team seems to have asked NASA about mining on the moon. It follows earlier information about a few billionaire investors from Mountain View (California) released in March about the potential benefits of moon mining.

With regard to transparency of UN Member countries, the GOXI members may be interested to take a look at the UN E-Government Survey 2016 on “E-Government in Support of Sustainable Development” . The survey offers a snapshot of trends in the development of e-government in countries across the globe. Unfortunately EITI progress is not listed or covered in this report. Perhaps an idea to make sure EITI is covered in the 2017 survey questions.
