sharing in governance of extractive industries
Publish What You Pay (PWYP) Indonesia has published “Community Right Base Advocacy on Extractive Industries: Framing and Experience from Southeast Asia Countries", which highlights how community right should be captured along the value chain of extractive industry as framed in the Free Prior Informed and Consent (FPIC) framework, the International Council on Mining and Metals (ICMM) framework, and also in another international, regional and national frameworks.
This publication also provides case studies from Southeast Asian countries especially Indonesia and Philippines and international experiences from Australia and Norway. It is a joint collaboration writing with Bantay Kita (Philippines), Wahana Lingkungan Hidup (Friends of the Earth-Indonesia), and also Oxfam Australia.
