Using Technology as a Tool for two way transparency and accountability around Oil and GAS Sector, Ghana (selection # 1043608)
Assignment Country: - Ghana
The consultant will scope and develop two interrelated components, a method for providing, receiving and interpreting information about the impacts and progress of oil and gas companies in meeting their obligations, and an ICT platform that enables local citizens to use access and provide this information. The Platform should build on existing efforts underway in Ghana to ensure transparency and accountability around the use of oil and gas resources, including efforts made by leaders in government, non government and business to improve the prospects of governance of the sector. The approach requires a blending of knowledge and skills in the area of governance of extractives resources with technology. Technology should be seen as an instrument in facilitating the good governance of the sector and not an end in itself.
The consultant will be a firm.
Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals). Please note that the total size of all attachments should be less than 5MB. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
Expressions of Interest should be submitted, in English, electronically through World Bank Group eConsultant2 (https://wbgeconsult2.worldbank.org/wbgec/index.html)
Following this invitation for Expression of Interest, a shortlist of qualified firms will be formally invited to submit proposals. Shortlisting and selection will be subject to the availability of funding.
