Harnessing the Extractive Industries for Development in sub-Saharan Africa 2018 (EX4DEV18) is a student-led interdisciplinary workshop and networking event designed to share research and foster opportunities for collaboration. The theme for 2018 is ‘challenging false perspectives in mining’.
Held at the University of Surrey, the day is organised around three panels comprising presentations from PhD students and industry practitioners, and culminating in a keynote address:

Paper presenttaion submission
To submit a paper to be considered for presentation at the workshop email an extended 1,000 – 1,500 word abstract to: firstname.lastname@example.org
Include ‘paper submission’, the panel number and short version of the title in the subject line of the email. For example, ‘Paper submission, Panel 2, ASM in Ghana and fair trade mineral certification’.
