sharing in governance of extractive industries

A weekly digest of activity on GOXI

It is widely considered prudent for countries to translate resource riches into diversified economies. But how is manufacturing performing in those countries? Is the performance of manufacturing firms in resource-rich countries different from those in resource-poor countries? Degol Hailu shares insights on this question at the firm level.

Publish What You Pay (PWYP)'s Elisa Peter reports on the legacy of the "ninja" miners and other current issues in Mongolia's mining sector, including complaints and denials about uranium mining.

And Paul Ogwu explores the case of Nigerria through the lens of EITI's audit on social expenditure and its impact on citizenry.

These and more jobs, blogs, photos, videos, and discussions on GOXI.
