Featured Company - National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC)

The National Iranian Oil Company is the third biggest in the world by production, according to Forbes' estimates for 2013. The company's history dates back to first major oil find in the Middle East in 1908. Current production is estimated to be 6.1 million BOE per day (oil + natural gas equivalents).  NIOC is fully government-owned under the control of the Ministry of Petroleum and is a member of OPEC.
