The GOXI Learning Series on Biodiversity and Human Rights continues with an interview with Claudia Iduarte-Lima, a blog by Jasmin Blessing and Sarah Daitch, and a recap of two webinars (available in English and Spanish). Coming up in the next month will be a focus on When Mines Close: Keeping People and the Environment Safe. Also, the second webinar on mining waste management and design for closure will take place on 15 November (in English) and 16 November (in Portuguese). Stay tuned for updates.

Member profile - Janne Kaiser-Tedesco

Janne Kaiser-Tedesco is an advisor on extractive governance with the German Development Agency, GIZ. Her current assignment is to develop a portfolio on digitalization in the GIZ project on extractives for development (X4D). Her areas of expertise further include local content, tax compliance and transparency in the extractive sector. Previous to her position with X4D she worked in Sierra Leone and Liberia as an advisor on extractive governance for GIZ and conducted academic research on corporate social responsibility in natural resources sector.

Janne is keen to connect with others who are interested in collaborating on digital innovations in extractive governance.
