Featured GOXIan - Alexandra Quiñones

Alexandra Quiñones is an Economics Analyst Officer working for the Cabinet of Advisers at the Minister of Energy and Mining of Peru. She holds a M.Sc. in Development Economics from the University of Queensland. Her work revolves around Peru's natural resource sector where she provides advice, consultancy plus research services. Especially, she does monitoring and evaluation in the areas of oil and gas with focus on the economic aspects of the industry. Alexandra also provides consultancy on development implications of projects involving the exploitation of natural resources. Her special areas of interest are research, monitoring , evaluation and cost benefit analysis of the impact of the extractive industries on community with emphasis on the microeconomic and social implications for the sustainable allocation of resources.
