This piece has laid bare what GOXI is about. Talking about poor choices leading to bad governance of natural resources- that is the biggest problem in the subregion, but it emanates from poor and weak institutions-and as Obama said we need strong institutions in Africa and not strong men.

So as implied that GOXI is only complementing efforts by other major stakeholders especially the governemnts of natural resource countries to judiciously manage these resources so that present and future generations can derive maximum benefits from these resources.
