Unless steps are taking to punish elements within FRDC, nothing will have happen. They(FRDC)are back again with a bang after the nan! Being an election year makes it even more difficult for Gov to muster the necessary political will required to punish these senior officers and soldiers involved in the illicit trade of minerals. True, these soldiers are poorly paid, are sent on operations without ration and their families live in subhuman conditions in filthy stincking barracks.....what can you expect? Once they have had a taste of the easy money that comes with the illicit mineral trade, there is no stopping..some of them have become so wealthy that the military has become a convinient cover to protect their trade and, more importantly, not pay taxes and to keep away the hordes of other corrupt officials from their 'businesses'
