This is informative and a reflection of what was expected to be in Ghana with the benefit of hindsight. But indications are that if care is not taken Ghana is likely to follow the steps of Nigeria and some other African Countries. E.g last year before the general election over us $500 million was allocated to the office of the President in the name of Infrastructure. As I write we are still yet to be informed how that resources where used?

Also the last time, I met officials of the Ghana's Ministry of Agriculture, officials were very balant that the dutch disease is actually here with us as the only resources given to that ministry is salaries but investments is nil since the discovery of oil. And yet Ghan was praised by the international Community for putting up fine policies aimed at avoiding the problems encountered by neighbouring with countries to resources and poverty.
