Great piece Don. Perhaps the modelling behind contracts (when developed with public money, as stated) could be a mandatory inclusion for extractives contracts in the Open Contracting Partnership?  Or the EITI? Do you think policy makers will become aware that it is in their interest, as it helps the public understand what has happened to the budget when the oil price or iron ore price plunges?
