Thanks for the heart felt sympathy about the horror and terror that happened in Uganda few days ago. This shows that there are people outside there who care about others! We pray that we go through this trying moments!

I really agree with you that the discussion sessions are really critical to ensuring that Ugandans benefit from the resources. Hope to get the invite. Thanks again and let's continue the discussion.
Dear Ibrahim

First of all, I hope you, your family and colleagues are all doing fine. I am saddened by such a loss of lives in Uganda. I wish you and your fellow Uganda all the best in dealing with this tragedy

Regarding our analysis, I am glad that you found it useful. We will certainly take into account your suggestion and delve deeper into Local content during the discussion sessions that we hope to organize in Uganda. One of them is for media and civil society, I'll make sure you get an invite

best regards

This great work. I think it will help Ugandan legislators refine the draft bill before it is passed into law. I would also commend the draft team for incorporating the Local Content issues in the bill. I believe that involving local and state participation in the nascent oil industry will make all stakeholders "own" the resource. This is a great start for Uganda but more efforts needed to ensure that transparency and accountability is in the forefront in managing the oil resource. RWI thanks very much and I am already writing a story from these comments.
