Hi Joe,

This a great post. I have learned a lot from reading it and skimming thru some of the links that you thoroughly provide. After reading you piece I was wondering if you know of any report about the impact of these new forms of providing clean energy to mining operations into the energy security of surrounding communities. This may be a long shot since some of these initiatives are fairly recent but I am curious to know if you know of people doing research on that issue.
