Some people might think that  the success of the EITI can be tied to relatively simple measures of good governance  and economic development (see Corrigan, C 2013) The EITI has grown in number of ways and is pushing several directions. EITI is about good governance, but that thing no longer just means more democracy or being more 'like us'. EITI contributes to a wide range of useful discussions about natural resources and anti-corruption and while there will be calls to expand what EITI can do, for example on reporting expenditure after revenues and further granulate of disclosures it is without doubt that EITI is building model to meet a global need.
